Rule 3 — Manner of calculating minimum rate of wages.

3(1)

For the purposes of sub-section (5) of section 6, the minimum rate of wages shall be fixed by the day basis keeping in view the criteria which shall be separately specified by the Central Government by special or general order: Provided that the Central Government shall not fix the minimum wages of the Central Government employees under this Code.
