56(7)(a) the Director of Employment or officer of equivalent or higher rank, controlling the work of career centres (Regional) of the respective State Government, will declare in writing an officer, who is looking after the work of career centres (Regional) as Executive Officer for each district for the purpose of enforcement or implementation of Chapter XIII (Employment Information and Monitoring) of the Code and such officer shall exercise the rights and perform duties referred to in section 139, or authorise any person in writing to exercise those rights and perform duties;

56(7)(b) the Director of Employment or an officer of equivalent or higher rank, controlling the work of Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment, New Delhi, will declare in writing an officer, who is looking after the work of career centres (Central) as Executive Officer for the purpose of enforcement or implementation of Chapter XIII (Employment Information and Monitoring) of the Code. Such officer shall exercise the rights and perform duties referred to in section 139.
