Rule 45 — Registration of building worker.

In case a building worker moves from one State to another State, then, it shall be the responsibility of the employer or the contractor to obtain the unique registration number from the building worker and effect the requisite changes in respect of such worker on the portal of the State Building Workers‘ Welfare Board of the destination State within a period of thirty days of such worker joining the muster roll under such employer or contractor, and in case the building worker does not possess such unique registration number then the employer or the contractor shall register such eligible building worker as referred to in sub-rule (1).
