Rule 23 — Appeal to Medical Appeal Tribunal.

23(1)

If the Insured Person or the Corporation is not satisfied with the decision of the medical board, the Insured Person or the Corporation, as the case may be, may appeal against such decision to The Medical Appeal Tribunal referred to in sub-section (7) of section 37 by presenting an application within ninety days from the date of communication of the said decision to the Insured Person or the Corporation, as the case may be: Provided that the medical appeal tribunal may entertain an application after the period of ninety days, if it is satisfied that the appellant had sufficient reasons for not presenting the application within the said period.
