Rule 30 — Application for intended lay-off and manner of serving copy of such application to workers.

30(1)

An application shall be made by the employer in Form-XIV to the Central Government seeking permission for lay-off of a worker stating clearly therein the reasons for the intended lay-off and a copy of such application shall be served simultaneously to the worker concerned, electronically or in person or by speed post.
